Join Picton Castle in her homeport Lunenburg, Nova Scotia before setting the course for south. Sail along the east coast of North America to Charleston in South Carolina where the Ship has always received a very warm southern welcome. Set the sails, man the helm, stand lookout and enjoy being part of a great international crew who can tell you stories of their around-the-world voyages! Open to Windseekers of 18 years and older.

Ports

Lunenburg is a Canadian port town in Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia. Historically the town was involved in several wars, including the American Revolution. Today the town is a fishery port and has several small shipyards that have managed to preserve the skills of the sailing era. Did you know that the replica of the ‘Bounty’ was built here? Visit the historic city centre on foot or by horse and carriage, and enjoy a leisurely hike in the grassy hills of the surrounding countryside.

The Port of Charleston is a seaport and the oldest city in South Carolina, US. The unique atmosphere is the result of numerous historical buildings and a cultural blend which includes English, French and West African elements. To sample this atmosphere you must try the local cuisine, take a walk to the Charleston City Market and attend one of the many cultural events throughout the year.
