Ports
Whitby is a fishing town and port on the north-east coast of England. It is an atmospheric town with a rich maritime, and then tourist, past. The west cliff leads visitors up the winding khyber pass to the Captain Cook monument rows of Georgian guesthouses, whilst the East Cliff's narrow shop-filled lanes lead up the 199 steps to the Church and Abbey over-looking the harbour. Visitors could spend a week exploring the beaches, hunting for fossils or trying some seriously good fish and chips.
