Stad Amsterdam:
Puerto Los Cabos (MX) - Balboa (PA)

29 March - 14 April 2018

Sail on clipper Stad Amsterdam for 15 days straight from the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico to Balboa in Panama. In this trip you will not be visiting ports along the way, instead spending all your time sailing on a square-rigged Ship. If sailing is your main motivation, then this is the journey for you. You can expect to make almost 2300 nautical miles, both on engine and, hopefully mostly, under sails. This voyage gives you an opportunity to learn a lot from the crew and captain, and simply through experience. After two weeks you will reach Balboa, at the entrance to the famous Panama Canal. Open for all ages, minimum age 15 years. Single cabin possible for € 2.347,50.

Ports

Los Cabos lies at the southern tip of Baja California Peninsula in Mexico. The area is famous for outdoor activities, such as ATV offroad riding, horseback riding, and of course snorkelling. If you have the time for a visit to the nearby San José del Cabo you can stroll through the colonial streets, visit are galleries and enjoy leisurely dinner or enjoy a day at the beach in the famous Bay of Cabo.

Balboa is a district of Panama City, connecting the Pacific Ocean and Panama Canal known as one of the busiest container ports in Latin America. Panama City is culturally diverse, what can be recognised both in architecture, varying from Spanish colonial to modern high-rise buildings and also in wide variety of languages commonly spoken. The city has to offer different kinds of fascinating districts, places and activities to experience... just don't get lost in this colorful city.
