Ports
Gdynia is a relatively young city, founded in the 1920s in place of a former fishing village. It's located near the city of Gdansk and it's one of the country's main sea ports. The maritime heritage of the city can be seen in architecture, with many buildings resembling ships. Visit the Polish Naval Museum and Dar Pomorza - an old sail training vessel for the Naval Academy. Take a stroll on Orlowo Pier and relax on a sandy beach - or take a short train ride to Gdansk.
