Step on board in Helsinki for an exhilarating voyage to Germany, crossing the Baltic Sea powered by wind and sails before entering the Kiel Canal and making your way to the North Sea. This adventure will take you through both day and night, as you sail in rotating watches, learning essential seamanship skills like steering, navigation, and sail handling. While you’re at sea, embrace the digital detox, make lasting friendships with your fellow crew members, and unwind in true Finnish style with a relaxing onboard sauna – followed by a refreshing plunge into the cool Baltic waters. Ports

Helsinki is the capital city of Finland with a population of about 600,000 people. It has been established in 1550. Take a ferry to visit the Fortress of Suomenlinna or the Seurasaari Island and Open-Air Museum. If you prefer to stay on the mainland you can't miss the Rock Church - literally built into rocks. Other attractions include the Esplanadi Park, Hakaniemi Market and lots of museum. Fans of architecture cannot miss the Finnish National Theater and the Lutheran Chathedral.

Cuxhaven is a North Sea port town in Germany, home to an important fisherman's wharf, and one of the largest sea side resorts in Germany. Cuxhaven is a quiet place, so don’t expect too much action. But its beaches, the small castle Ritzebüttel, and the ship wreck museum are well worth your time. Take a walk over the promenade and gaze at the passing ships, go for a nice dinner in one of the many restaurants, or dig up your swimming trunks and spend a nice afternoon at the beach.

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end.
