Alexander von Humboldt II:
Travemünde (DE) - Belfast (GB)

19 June - 04 July 2015

No places available anymore – It’s time for an ocean adventure! Step on board the Alexander von Humboldt II and get your sea legs. As a true Windseeker you will learn all about Tall Ship sailing on this Sail Training Journey. You start your Journey in the German harbour of Travemünde, famous for its traditional foods and drinks. Via the beautiful Norwegian Fjords and the North Sea the Journey leads to Belfast. You’ll make fast friends with the crew and your fellow Windseekers while you work together as a team to harness the wind and the waves. There’s always something to do, but you’ll also find time to spend with your favorite book, or play a game in the day room. Or just look towards the horizon. You will see some amazing scenery, and maybe even dolphins playing across the bow. Open to all ages, minimum age 14 years.

Ports

Belfast is the capital and the largest city of Northern Ireland. It started out as a small hamlet with fertile land along the mouth of the Lagan. Soon, marauders and pirates realised Belfast’s lough was deep and their shores were the perfect haven for repairing sea ravaged ships. Today Belfast is a wonderful city to explore! Visit the Titanic quarter waterfront, the Ulster Museum, or the Odyssey area where you'll find lots of entertainment. And spend some time in one of Belfast's many pubs.
