Eye of the Wind:
Stockholm (SE) - Riga (LV)

16 July - 23 July 2016

The Baltic Sea between the Gulf of Bothnia and the Gulf of Riga is one of the most attractive sailing areas. The Stockholm archipelago, the maritime landscape of the West-Estonian Sound Islands and the elongated beaches of the Kurzeme coastline offer scenic diversity from the first to the last day of the voyage. Discover two of the most beautiful metropolises of northern Europe: The starting point of the trip is the Swedish capital Stockholm, the port of destination is the Latvian capital Riga. A stopover with time for shore leave is possible on the island of Gotland.

Ports

Swim, paddle and shop in this city rich with culture and history. Stockholm is located on Sweden's south-central east coast, where the freshwater Lake Mälaren, Sweden's third largest lake, flows into the Baltic Sea. Over 30% of the city area is made up of waterways. Another 30% is made up of parks and green spaces. Stockholm has become a modern, technologically advanced, and ethnically diverse city. Have fun while exploring this 'Venice of the North', on the water and the shores.

Riga is the capital and the largest city of Latvia. The Old of Riga is one of many World Heritage Sites in Europe. The building of the Brotherhood of Blackheads is the most iconic building of Old Riga.
