You will sail on the former shipping routes of the Hanseatic League, the once powerful merchant union at the European shores. On board the professional crew teaches you everything about the Tall Ship and sailing. At the end of the Journey you will visit the Wismar Harbour Days with fireworks as a maritime completion of this sailing trip.

Ports

Lübeck is a large port town on the river Trave, close to the Baltic Sea. The city is famous for its old architecture and many tourists visit it each year. Did you know that marzipan was invented here? Discover Lübeck on foot or rent a bicycle to make your way through the medieval streets of the old town. In the old harbor you will find the Lisa von Lübeck, a reconstruction of a Hanseatic 15th century caravel. If you want to escape the city, the nearby Palinger heide is a nice nature park.

Wismar is a harbor on the Baltic Sea with a huge market square, lined with 14th century buildings. Wismar is a popular sailing destination, so expect to find loads of ‘yachties’ here. Go and discover the town on foot and enjoy the vibe of the old harbor. The Nicolaikirche and Kirche of St. Georgen both come highly recommended. Nearby you’ll find rural areas that can be fun to explore. And In the Baltic area a good beach is never far away, so go for a swim or find a place for windsurfing.
