Bark Europa:
Charlottetown (CA) - Miramichi (CA)

01 July - 08 July 2017

Rendez-Vous Regatta 2017 – Cruise in Company 1. Saling and cruising. Leaving from Charlottetown you will enjoy the beautiful Canadian Gulf of St. Lawrence as you set sail towards Miramichi in the company of other tall ships. This time you don’t have to race so you have the time to enjoy – not only the sailing and all activities involved, but also the amazing nature of Canada. Open to all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

Charlottetown is a capital city of a Canadian Prince Edward Island province. Both the waterfront and the Vicotiran-era houses in town provide for great walking tours. Despite its small size, Charlottetown is a lively place, with its Centre of the Arts, St. Dunstan's Basilica and beautiful Victoria Park serving as main attractions. Take a walk through Victoria Row, a cobblestone street with a mix of great cafes, unique little shops and music all around.

Miramichi is a city at the mouth of Miramichi river in a Canadian New Brunswick province. Its unique culture is a blend of Mi'kmaq, Acadian, English, Scottish, and Irish traditions. For a taste of the culture visit New Brunswick Potato World Museum or, if you have more of a sweet tooth, the Chocolate Museum. After you've worked up your appetite sit down in one of many restaurants to enjoy a fresh local salmon.
