The square rigged ALEX 2 is perfectly suited for sail training, so you’ll get plenty of opportunity to hone your newfound skills. You and your shipmates will become fast friends as you work together to harness the winds and battle. By the time you arrive in London you’ll have gained new skills and experience in an adventure you will never forget! Perfect voyage to find out if you like to come back for a longer voyage. For all ages, minimum age 14 years.

Ports

The port of Hamburg, on the river Elbe, is the second largest port in Europe. Hamburg has more than 40 theatres, 60 museums and 100 music venues and clubs. Hamburg was awarded the title of European Green Capital for 2011. Hamburg is noted for several festivals and regular events. Hafengeburtstag is a funfair to honor the birthday of the port of Hamburg with a party and a ship parade. Christmas markets in December are held at the Hamburg Rathaus square, among other places.

London is a centre for business, finance, the arts and tourism. As such, the city has something to offer for everyone. But visiting London by ship makes the experience extra special. Go see a play in West End, explore Soho, or take a tourist bus for a sightseeing ride. Go to Hyde Park, close to Buckingham Palace, if the city bustle is a bit much after an ocean voyage. And work on your cultural karma by visiting a few of the many museums. London is so big you’ll need to revisit to see it all!
