Anne-Margaretha:
Longyearbyen (NO) - Tromsö (NO)

04 July - 11 July 2017

NO PLACES AVAILABLE ANYMORE – This beloved journey begins in Longyearbyen, where you have about 3 days to enjoy the spectacular fjords with their large glaciers, icebergs and (traces of) polar bears. You’ll enjoy a nice combination of sailing and hiking. After this you will make a beautiful trip alongside the impressive glaciers. Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.

Ports

Longyearbyen is a capital of Norwegian Svalbard archipelago, located on the Spitsbergen island. If you want to experience the arctic climate, although tempered by a warm current, Spitsbergen is the place to visit. Look for seabirds, reindeer and marine mammals but watch out for polar bears! Don't be fooled by the town's remote location and small size: you can find there two museums, art galleries and a cinema.

Only 2000 km from the North Pole Tromsö is the capital of Norway’s high north, home to 70 000 inhabitants who live on the edge of the Arctic. This well operated cruise destination is positioned in a spectacular setting between islands, iconic fjords and mountain peaks, midway between the North Cape and Lofoten Islands.
