Bark Europa:
Cape Town (ZA) - Boston (US)

13 April - 17 June 2017

Full Ocean crossing! A true ocean voyage with stop on St. Helena. You also will make a stop at Ascension Island where new crew can come on board. A very nice voyage with sailtraining, ocean research, honouring king Neptune and a festive sail in Boston. Open to all ages, minimum age 15 years.

Port Festivals are a widely celebrated aspect of South African ports, port-goers can mingle with celebrities, visit craft stands, dance along to some of South Africa’s top DJs, enjoy a picnic with loved ones or indulge in the numerous waterside and landside activities on offer.

Ports

Cape Town, close to Cape of Good Hope, is a wonderful place where African and European cultures mix and match in interesting ways. The city offers lots of entertainment and fine cuisine, and there is much to see! Visit the Table Mountain, saunter along the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, check out Robben Island where Nelson Mandela used to be imprisoned, and of course no Windseeker's visit is complete without a trip to Cape Point. If you have time, a drive along the coast is highly recommended!

Boston is the capital of the Massachusetts state, well-known for its excellent universities: Harvard and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. But there is more to Boston than education! Visit the Fenway Park sports complex or one of the many museums in town. The beautiful waterfront invites for a stroll and, once you're there, don't miss visiting the Tea Party Ship replica.
