* Places at request * Sea Norway. This leg will take you from Brønnøysund – half-way point along Norway’s vast coastline – and beyond the Arctic Circle to Bodø, gateway to the true north. Visit the the Svartisen glacier – you can explore it by bike or hiking, and even take a blue-ice trek on the glacier itself and through its mazes. End the voyage in Bodø, home to the world’s strongest maelstrom SaltstraumenOpen to Windseekers aged 8 and older, children aged 8-11 sail for free (accompanied by an adult), ages 12-17 must be accompanied by an adult.

Bodo is a town in Norway, located north of the Arctic Circle. Bodo is home to the world’s strongest maelstrom. The city is perfect for outdoor activities like walking, kayaking, diving and fishing, but also for climbing and hiking in the mountain range. Besides of impressing nature, you find there lively urban scene with shopping centres and diverse choice of cultural activities.
