Youth Experience: to Scotland and back (via Dublin)! Step on board the Eendracht for a beautiful summer journey. Sail out of Rotterdam, and set the sails to cross the North Sea towards Great Britain. Learn to steer, navigate and handle the sails, while making connections with other trainees. Round the UK via the Scottish Highlands, before entering the Irish Sea on the way to Dublin, from where you will make the final journey back to the Netherlands. Learn to sail a Tall Ship, steer, navigate, and look out for dolphins. Learn some shanties, and watch the stars without light pollution.
Open to Windseekers aged 15-25.

Ports

Rotterdam is the largest port of Europe, and a modern, bustling town. Much of the historic city centre was destroyed during World War II, but extensive rebuilding resulted in a modern, multicultural city with many architectural highlights. Rotterdam has excellent cultural facilities and a diverse nightlife; during the summer the city hosts a large number of events. Discover the city by bicycle and go for a coffee in Hotel New York, the former headquarters of the Holland America Line.

This process is automatic and you do not need to do anything else. After receiving your booking, Windseeker will send you detailed information on how and when to pay for your journey – together with all the other important details.

 

What does it mean?

In short: you do not pay the booking amount to Windseeker but instead into an escrow account. This trust account holds your payment in reserve until your journey’s end. The booking amount is then released to Windseeker on the day after your trip ends. If Windseeker or the Ship should become financially insolvent before the end of your trip, STO Garant will implement the guarantee.
