Sail around Tenerife – the Island of Eternal Spring at the Canarian Islands. You will have a good view from the seaside at the vulcano “the Teide”. Enjoy sailing in good winds and under a warm sun, take walks on a beach and go for a swim in the ocean. Visit the lively Santa Cruz de Tenerife and discover the local culture and customs. Enjoy a little well-deserved vacation in the middle of winter. Open for all Windseekers, minimum age 15 years.
Los Abrigos is a small fishing village on the south coast of the island of Tenerife, in the Canary Islands archipelago. Unlike many party places in the islands, Los Abrigos is a hidden gem, a slice of real Tenerife, and not a tourist destination. Here you can visit local family restaurants and eat some fresh seafood, lunge back on a volcanic beach and take a stroll through authentic Canarian plaza before you sit down in one of the small cafes.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the shared capital of the Canary Islands, together with Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The central square Plaza de España is a real eye-catcher, situated between the ocean and the old, bustling city centre. Lose yourself in the crowded alleys, find a spot on one of the terraces, or leave town and discover the rugged volcanic landscape. The museum of Nature and Man is worth a visit. Chances are you’ll find pilot whales in the waters around Tenerife, so keep an eye out!
