Morgenster:
Palmeira (CV) - Palmeira (CV)

10 January - 21 January 2025

Discover the Cape Verde Islands with a historic tall ship. These sailing trips with Morgenster offer a mix of active but comfortable sailing, and exploration of at least six islands in the archipelago. You will visit places still untouched by the mass tourism. Each day of sailing will be followed by a full day on one of Cape Verdean Islands, where you’ll be able to join organised excursions. During the sailing, you’ll be invited to help with all the activities on board, like hoisting the sails, steering and navigating. Life on board is pleasant and comfortable due to the efforts of the ships cook and the crew. This will be a Cape Verde holiday to remember!
The excursions on shore are optional, and not included in the Journey price. The estimated cost of joining all of the excursions is € 200 per person.
Open to all Windseekers aged 18+ (please note that this is not a youth voyage and we expect a big variety of ages on board). Younger trainees, accompanied by an adult, at request. This booking is covered by VZR Garant (instead of Windseeker’s usual STO Garant).

Ports

Palmeira is the third-largest town in Cape Verde, situated on the island of Sal, yet still has a small, village atmosphere. When you land in Palmeira you will have just completed an Atlantic Crossing, or at least a hefty 2700km sail south from Europe. Whilst resting in Palmeira, visit some bars and restaurants, or explore further to desert Oases, caves and beaches.
