Oosterschelde:
Palmeira (CV) - Palmeira (CV)

05 February - 16 February 2026

Island Hopping in Cape Verde. Step on board a historic tall ship to explore the Cape Verdean Islands. These sailing trips with Oosterschelde offer a mix of active but comfortable sailing and discovering at least six islands in the archipelago. You will visit places still untouched by the mass tourism. Every day of ocean sailing will be followed by a full day on one of the islands, where you will have the chance to join organised excursions with local guides. During the sailing trip you are invited to help with all the activities on board, like hoisting the sails, steering and navigating. Life on board is pleasant and comfortable due to the efforts of the ships cook and the crew. This voyage is a perfect mix of sailing and relaxing, making it a holiday to remember!
The excursions on shore are optional, and not included in the Journey price. The estimated cost of joining all of the excursions is € 240 per person.
Open to all Windseekers aged 18+. Younger trainees, accompanied by an adult, at request.

Ports

When you land in Palmeira you will have just completed a crossing over the Atlantic waters. Whilst resting in Palmeira, visit some bars and restaurants to try local specialties, or explore further to desert Oases, caves and beaches.
