Oosterschelde:
Rotterdam (NL) - Plymouth (GB)

08 November - 16 November 2025

Join Oosterschelde in Rotterdam and get a good night’s sleep before setting sail down the Nieuwe Maas river towards the open sea. Get to know the ship and its rigging, and hoist the sails for the first time to begin the adventure! You’ll join the watch schedule, assisting with steering, navigation, and sail handling, or lending a hand in the galley when needed. The North Sea leg of the journey is bustling with traffic, but after navigating the Dover Strait, you will find quieter waters. You will have ample time to sail to Plymouth, allowing for stops along the way, weather permitting.
This journey is a part of a delivery voyage to Cape Verde. Join multiple legs of this voyage for a 15% discount. You can stay on board in the days in between the sailing legs.
Open to all Windseekers aged 18+. Younger trainees, accompanied by an adult, at request.

Ports

Rotterdam is the largest port of Europe, and a modern, bustling town. Much of the historic city centre was destroyed during World War II, but extensive rebuilding resulted in a modern, multicultural city with many architectural highlights. Rotterdam has excellent cultural facilities and a diverse nightlife; during the summer the city hosts a large number of events. Discover the city by bicycle and go for a coffee in Hotel New York, the former headquarters of the Holland America Line.

Plymouth is a coastal city in the south of England. Perfect for outdoor enthusiasts it is located near beautiful beaches and national park in Dartmoor. The city has a rich cultural life, with numerous art exhibitions and events. The National Marine Aquarium is the largest in the UK and offers a unique glimpse into marine world.
