Thalassa:
Ullapool (GB) - Scrabster (GB)

13 September - 20 September 2025

Experience a hiking and sailing adventure with Thalassa in the islands of Scotland. Begin your journey with a warm welcome in Ullapool before setting sail for the charming village of Tarbert on the island of Harris in the Outer Hebrides. Enjoy a short walk to the island’s opposite shore for breath-taking views of the Atlantic Ocean. From there, sail onwards to the Orkney Islands, with several stops along the way to explore the hidden gems. Onboard, Gerard Spaans, an experienced hiking and Scotland guide, will organize walks and lead you through the spectacular sites along the route. Untie the ropes and prepare for an unforgettable sailing experience along Scotland’s enchanting coastlines. See you on board!
Open to all Windseekers over 18 years of age.

Ports

Ullapool, despite its small size is the largest settlement for many miles around and a major tourist destination of Scotland. The village was founded in 1788 as a herring port by the British Fisheries Society. A few Cordyline australis or New Zealand cabbage trees are grown in the town and are often mistaken for palms. The harbour is still the edge of the village, used as a fishing port, yachting haven, and ferry port. Enjoy the beautiful surroundings here.

Scrabster is a small but town on the north coast of Scotland. Conveniently located on the Thurso Bay, the settlement dates back to the Vikings. Nowadays it's a gateway to the Orkney Islands by ferry, and a bustling fishing port.
