Twister:
Grenada (GD) - Martinique (MQ)

06 March - 14 March 2025

Caribbean Island hopping. Start your journey in Grenada and sail northwards to Martinique. Visit the Tobago Cays and Grenadine Islands, a picture-perfect collection of 100 inhabited and uninhabited islands. Explore the famous Horseshoe Reef before making your way to the volcanic St. Vincent with its rich rainforest, waterfalls and black-sand beaches. From there it’s only a few hours’ hop to Saint Lucia, known for its delicious fruit. End the journey in Martinique, one of the larger islands of the Lesser Antilles. Martinique has sugar plantations and the bulk of the harvest is used to make good rum. In other words, it’s a perfect location for a drink to celebrate the successful conclusion of this trip!
Open to all Windseekers, trainees younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult (please note that this is not a youth voyage and we expect a big variety of ages on board). Meals on board are vegetarian, but you can indicate if you would like to have the occasional fish or meat dish on the menu.

Ports

Grenada is an island-state composed of a main island, Grenada, and six smaller islands. Located in the Southeastern Caribbean Sea it hosts more than a hundred thousand inhabitants. The capital city, Saint George's, is surrounded by a hillside of an old volcano crater and a pretty big harbor. Those islands are well known tourist destinations because of the beautiful waters, astonishing landscapes and local culture. So, take your hiking shoes and go for walk to the top of the old volcano!

Martinique is an island on the Eastern Caribbean Sea and an overseas territory of France. With its white sandy beaches, clear blue water and green hills it is the picture of a tropical paradise. Enjoy the unique culture of the island with its Creole and French influences and the multicultural cuisine. Visit the Paul Gauguin Interpretation Centre, dedicated to the artist's brief but fruitful stay on the island. Participate in watersports or take a hike through the tropical forest.
