* Last places, contact info@windseeker.org before booking * Sail & Bike around Denmark and Sweden. This is a trip for true adventurers who love to spend their time being active and sporty. You will be spending most days on your bicycle, travelling from one location to the next, where the Ship will await you. Some parts of the route will be done with the Zuiderzee instead. You will board in Dragör, about 15 kilometers from Copenhagen, and disembark in the same place after completing a biking and sailing tour. You can rent a bicycle on board for EUR 70. You can sail with all your family – there are no age limits for this journey. 15% for children under the age of 14.

Programme Outline

In this Biking & Sailing trip you will have the chance to actively spend your time with your fellow trainees. The below is a planned itinerary, but keep in mind that the exact route may change depending on the weather and wind conditions! Day 1: Copenhagen / Dragör Embarkation is from 18:00. Your Ship will wait in Dragör, about 15 km south of Copenhagen. After the embarkation you can take a walk through the harbor or a small bike ride around Dragör.

Day 2: From Dragör harbor you will along Route 152 in the direction of Helsingör. You will make approx. 58 km, mostly along bike paths. Day 3: By ferry or with your sailing ship you will cross over to Helsingborg in Sweden. From Helsingborg Harbor a nice trip can take you to Nimis where you can admire driftwood art by an artist Lars Vilks. Bike ride about 35 km.

Day 4: From Helsingborg you cycle to Landskrona. Your path leads over paved roads between fields, forest and meadows and small villages over Glumslöv to Landskrona. Bike tour approx. 26 km short tour or approx. 43 km longer trip). Day 5: Say goodbye to Landskrona and cycle to Malmö. The paved roads lead through the beautiful nature of Sweden. Of course, the water is never far, either! Cycling tour about 47 km.

Day 6: Explore the surroundings of Malmö with a bike ride of approx. 26 km. After lunch you will sail from Malmo to Copenhagen. Enjoy the 2 hour crossing with the salty sea air. Set sail and navigate. 7th day: A whole day in Copenhagen. From Dragör harbor you can reach Copenhagen via bike in just 45 minutes (approx. 15 km). Explore the city and all it has to offer! Day 8: Have the last breakfast together with your new friends and disembark around 10:00.

Dragor is a maritime city founded in the 12th century as a fishing town. In the 13th century it became part of the Hanseatic League. To this day lots of attractions are connected to the sea, such as the Seafaring Museum. Dragor is located 15 kilometers outside of Copehnagen, making it a great place for day trips, and easy to reach.
