Blue Clipper

Ship

Tall Ship Blue Clipper is a spacious and luxuriously furnished three masted schooner.  In the construction of the hull, modern elements are mixed with traditional ones, such as a clipper bow, an elegant yacht stern and a long ballast keel.  The teak deck was built on top of steel plates.

The ship usually sails with 8 crew, made up of experienced permanent crew and eager volunteers, wanting to put their sailing knowledge and experience to good use.

Step on board TS Blue Clipper for sail training with an edge of luxury.  Climb the mast, take the helm, learn to navigate using only the sun and the stars.  On board TS Blue Clipper you get to try your hand at every aspect of sailing this beautiful Tall Ship.

History

Tall Ship Blue Clipper was built in 1991 at Feab Marstrandsverken in Sweden. She was owned by the famous brandy company Hennessy. In 1872, the ship Alfred brought the first load of Cognac from France to Shanghai. In 1992, with the same name and painted white, Tall Ship Blue Clipper repeated this historic voyage.
